Day by Day Nursing Services was founded by Angelina Jimenez, RN-CHPN, leveraging over three decades of healthcare expertise. Witnessing the unique needs of the elderly community, Angelina envisioned a service that transcends traditional caregiving. In 2020, she established Day by Day with a deep commitment to providing seniors and their families with the highest standard of comprehensive home healthcare. Recognizing the critical need for exceptional caregivers, Angelina prioritized their role to ensure consistency and deliver top-tier care, making them the backbone of our services and instrumental in driving our mission of excellence.
Our company name, ‘Day by Day,’ reflects our belief in embracing the aging journey one step at a time. Throughout her career, Angelina witnessed families struggling to ensure quality care for their loved ones. Meet the Team
Angelina Jimenez, RN, CHPN
President and Director of Nursing
Angelina Jimenez, our Founder, President, and Director of Nursing at Day by Day Nursing Services, brings over three decades of diverse medical experience to her role. After completing her medical degree in the Philippines, Angelina pursued a fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She served as a Training Medical Officer for 15 years, where her commitment to helping people grew.
Driven by her passion for making a positive impact, Angelina relocated to the United States and underwent training as a Registered Nurse. While living in Seattle, she held managerial roles in Adult Family Homes in the Magnolia neighborhood for over 20 years. Concurrently, Angelina served as a Hospice Nurse for Providence Hospice of Seattle, earning certification as a Hospice and Palliative Nurse.
As Angelina’s dedication to helping others, particularly those confronting aging and illness, deepened throughout her career, she recognized the critical importance of providing high-quality care and assembling an exceptional team to support seniors in their desire to remain at home. It was this realization that inspired her to found Day by Day Nursing Services.
At the helm, Angelina leverages her clinical expertise to lead a team of trained and licensed caregivers and registered nurses. Together, they deliver comprehensive home healthcare, ensuring an exceptional experience for all involved through clear communication, consistency, and collaboration.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Angelina finds joy in staying active, traveling, and cherishing family moments during her free time. She remains dedicated to her community as a member of the University District Rotary Club, actively supporting Elizabeth Gregory Home and Ronald McDonald House. Her leadership at Day by Day Nursing Services is defined by her heartfelt commitment to the well-being of others.
